Fonosphera®

Fonosphera® is a composite formed of a polymer- and mineral-load-based mass bonded to a polyethylene layer with spherical caps. Thanks to its structure the product guarantees high acoustic absorption and insulation capacities and prevents the occurrence of acoustic bridging during assembly.

It offers excellent fire-resistance characteristics, very low toxicity from smoke and an absence of dripping, making it excellent for use in numerous fields, from building to industry.

The special machining process also enables the composite to guarantee excellent performance with a low thickness and weight, which makes it particularly suitable for sound insulation for aircraft and for damping vibrations on metal, fibreglass, plastic laminate and multilayer wood structures and walls.
